These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Restore Method website, therestoremethod.com (the “Site”), operated by Tani Michelle du Toit (“Restore Method”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing or using this Site, purchasing a product or service, downloading a resource, registering for an event or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Wellness + Medical Disclaimer

Restore Method is a wellness and educational approach designed to support nervous system awareness, self-awareness, wellbeing, creativity and personal development.

Information, practices, workshops, programs, resources and other content provided by Restore Method are for educational and general wellbeing purposes only.

Restore Method does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or medical treatment, and its services and resources are not intended to replace medical, psychological, psychiatric or other qualified healthcare.

Nothing contained on this Site should be relied upon as a substitute for personalised professional healthcare advice.

Participation + Personal Responsibility

Restore workshops, programs and resources may include education, breath practices, movement, body awareness, reflection, meditation, energy-based practices and creative activities.

You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you and for participating within your own capacity and comfort.

You may choose not to participate in any activity.

If you have an existing health condition, injury, are pregnant, are receiving medical or psychological treatment, or are unsure whether an activity is appropriate for you, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.

No particular personal, health, business, financial or other outcome is guaranteed through participation in Restore Method services or programs.

Children + My Brilliant Body

My Brilliant Body books, downloads and resources are educational and wellbeing resources intended to encourage curiosity about the body, breath, awareness, energy, creativity and wellbeing.

They are not medical or psychological assessment, diagnosis or treatment tools.

Children should use activities and resources with appropriate adult supervision. Parents, carers and educators are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for an individual child, including consideration of the child’s age, abilities and circumstances.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all original content available through this Site is owned by Tani Michelle du Toit and/or Restore Method.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Restore Method concepts, written materials and educational resources

• My Brilliant Body books, characters and resources

• text, photographs, illustrations and graphics

• logos and branding

• workshop and program materials

• downloadable files, guides and worksheets

• facilitator and training materials.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, modified, distributed, sold, licensed, taught commercially or represented as your own without prior written permission.

Downloading or purchasing a resource gives you permission to use it only in accordance with the licence or instructions accompanying that resource. It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

Free Resources

Free downloads and Resource Library materials remain the intellectual property of Restore Method unless otherwise stated.

They may be downloaded and printed for personal use and, where specifically indicated, use by parents, carers or educators.

Free access does not give permission to resell, redistribute, upload, reproduce commercially, alter or rebrand the resources.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use this Site lawfully and not to:

• interfere with the operation or security of the Site

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or another user's account

• infringe our intellectual property rights or those of another person

• reproduce or commercially exploit Site content without permission

• use the Site in a fraudulent, unlawful or harmful manner.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

Accounts + Resource Library Access

Where an account, password or Resource Library access is provided, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

Access details are for the authorised user only and should not be shared unless we expressly state otherwise.

You are responsible for ensuring information supplied through your account is accurate and current.

Products + Services

Products and services offered through Restore Method may include books, digital resources, workshops, facilitated experiences, programs, retreats, consulting and other educational or wellbeing services.

Availability, inclusions, dates and pricing may change from time to time.

We aim to ensure descriptions and images accurately represent our offerings; however, minor variations may occur, particularly with printed products, workshop content and customised services.

Any important terms specific to a workshop, program, retreat, consultation or other service will be communicated at the time of booking.

Bookings, Cancellations + Refunds

Any cancellation, rescheduling or refund conditions specific to a workshop, program, retreat or service will be provided at or before booking.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Australian consumers have automatic consumer guarantees when purchasing eligible goods and services, and businesses cannot remove those rights through their terms and conditions. ACCC

Payments

Where payments are accepted through the Site, available payment methods will be displayed at checkout.

By submitting payment details, you authorise the relevant payment provider to process the amount shown for your purchase.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers and are also subject to those providers' terms and privacy practices.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

Where Australian Consumer Law applies, these Terms will be interpreted consistently with those rights.
